When and Where

April 19, 5:30 PM - 9:15 PM

April 20, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What Will We Be Studying?

Have you ever wondered what fuels a conflict between two people? What causes fights and quarrels amongst people? What is God’s way of resolving conflict between two people?

This conference will teach you how to look at conflict through the lens of God’s Word learning how to embrace conflict as an opportunity to bring God glory and serve others while growing up into the image of Christ Jesus.

God’s way through conflict is remarkedly different than the way the world tells us to react to conflict. In Christ every believer has been given “tools” to represent Christ amid a conflict.

We invite you to join us April 19th & 20th as we learn what conflict is and how God calls His church to respond to every conflict, large or small, in ways that cause His church to flourish while representing Him to the watching world.

Breakout Sessions

The PAUSE Principle: Godly and Practical Strategies to Navigate Conflict

We will discuss Ken Sande’s (Peacemaker Ministries founder) PAUSE Principle from his book The Peacemaker.  It is a very practical method for how to prepare for and deal with conflict in a godly way. What does the Bible say about conflict? What do you think about conflict? How do you determine what to talk about? How do you avoid just arguing? How do you follow what the Bible says as you’re in a conflict? Information presented here can give you practical tools to use so you can honor God and others as you navigate conflict.

The Sufficiency of Scripture and Conflict Resolution

This seminar will focus on some of the most effective tools to use when doing biblical conciliation work. These “tools” consist of diagrams and other practical items that help individuals apply the living Word of God to their broken and unhealthy relationships.

Forgiveness is God’s BIG Idea

Forgiveness matters – all the time and in all relationships.  It is entirely a God-given dynamic that is essential for Him to have a relationship with us, and us with each other.  Said another way, we can have no relationship with Him without His forgiveness – or with each other without His forgiveness being a central and powerful dynamic among us.

It's God’s BIG Idea – let’s ask Him to reveal what we need to know about His amazing, supernatural forgiveness in this brief hour.

Freedom Through Confession of Sin: The Seven A’s & The Four Promises of Forgiveness

God’s grace opens our eyes to see our sin the way He does. Once we see our sin, God’s will is for us to confess specifically: First to Him and then to those that we have sinned against. In this breakout session, we will look at The Seven A’s of Confession & the Four Promises of Forgiveness through the lens of the gospel.
